Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater | Vail, Colorado

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater was renovated in two phases over the winter months. Phase 1 of renovation included construction of the restrooms on the east side of the venue, along with terracing of the general admission lawn seating that surrounds the back of the pavilion seating. Additionally, cosmetic changes to the Amphitheater included new stucco color, additional stone façade and new countertops for the concession area, and new lighting at the back of the lawn seating. Improvements and additions in Phase 2 of construction included “The Lobby”, a social gathering space at the entrance to the Amphitheater and centered around a tensile canopy, “The Porch” mini stage, the “Ford Story Walls”, “Legacy Timeline” and “Tribute Sculptures.
