The Eagle-Vail Swimming Complex started with a demolition of the existing pool structure and constructing a new reception building with office space, lockers, bathrooms, and a changing area, as well as a 25-meter, six-lane pool and a toddler pool. Solar Thermal and Solar PV systems were installed for heating and sanitizing the pool. 52 Solar Panels were installed to provide 60% of the pool’s heating. The solar panels will save approximately $100,000 in utility bills over the next 10 years.
